Announcements for February 16, 2020

New Bible class: “What Is Christianity? The Bible’s Big Story, from Genesis to Revelation.” Begins today, downstairs, after the service.

Ash Wednesday is February 26. Since Pastor Henrickson will be teaching up in Chicago that day, we will not be having service here. However, if you wish to attend an Ash Wednesday service, these nearby sister congregations will be having service that day:
Grace-De Soto: 7:00 p.m.
Trinity-Park Hills: 6:00 p.m.
St. Paul-Farmington: 11:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Holy Cross-Ste. Genevieve: 6:00 p.m.

Midweek Lenten service: Pastor Henrickson will be able to do one midweek Lenten service, on Wednesday, March 11. What time range could you come? It will be after the time change, so there will be daylight later, with sunset at 7:06 p.m. Also, we could have a potluck meal before or after the service. Talk to Pastor.

Lutheran Witness: Pick up the latest issue in the narthex.

Email address and/or text number: With that information we can send you, e.g., notifications in case of weather cancellations. Please send the information to Pastor at:

Pastor Henrickson is here most Sundays, but most weekdays he is teaching at Concordia University Chicago. When he is gone, in an emergency, you can contact one of these nearby pastors:
Rev. Thomas Reeder, 562-8099
Rev. Jeremy May, 431-3442
